Capital City Crowd

Last night, alumni from the UI, Iowa State University, and the University of Northern Iowa braved the rain in downtown Des Moines to make new connections at our informal networking event. Across the Ages

Last week, our Lifelong Learning event at Melrose Meadows brought generations together for a special presentation. UI Associate Director of Student Development David Gould, 92MA, paired students with senior citizens to discuss their respective dreams, life lessons, and thoughts on aging. Matching Up Nicely

Dancing For The Kids

We have some special guests at the Levitt Center today–Dance Marathon morale captains performing a synchronized dance number. They will keep the spirits of over 2,500 registered participants up during the 24-hour event, which kicks off  tomorrow evening at the Iowa Memorial Union. Surviving Winter

Today in Iowa City, we’re enjoying blue skies and balmy temperatures up to 51F. Outside the alumni association offices, bright green spears of daffodils are appearing in the garden beds. Anyone would think we’d skipped winter altogether and headed straight into spring!
