Writers Wanted

Register today for the University of Iowa Summer Writing Festival’s 25th annual gathering.  The festival is a short-term noncredit writing program administered through the university’s Division of Continuing Education.  The program offers 140 weeklong and weekend workshops across the genres, including novel, short story, poetry, essay, memoir, humor, playwriting, screenwriting, science fiction, and writing for children.  Fees are $560 per weeklong session and $280 per weekend. There are no requirements beyond the desire to write. Writers at all levels age 21 and over are welcome.  Call 319/335-4160 for a complete program catalog, or visit www.uiowa.edu/~iswfest.
