Au Revoir, ‘Mural’

Get a glimpse of Jackson Pollock’s “Mural,” the University of Iowa Museum of Art‘s most prized painting, before it embarks on an international tour that includes a stop at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy.

Join us for, “Farewell to an American Treasure: An Evening with Jackson Pollock’s ‘Mural,’” on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Sioux City Art Center. This Lifelong Learning event, which will begin at 4:30 p.m., will feature a reception, a lecture, and a guided tour.┬áSean O’Harrow, director of the UI Museum of Art, will deliver comments.

This gathering is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.

Click here to register and see the painting. Please RSVP by Friday, March 13.

We’ll see you, and “Mural,” in Sioux City.
