An Event for Readers and Music Fans

The recent digital revolution has upended the way audiences experience media. Though these technological advances had similar effects on journalism, media, and music, all three industries reacted differently. That’s the focus of “Music, Media, and Journalism:┬áSurprisingly Bright Futures,” our upcoming Lifelong Learning session.

UI journalism professor Don McLeese, who is also a former Rolling Stone magazine columnist and Chicago Sun-Times pop music critic, will lead the discussion in how these digital innovations are good news for consumers, artists, and journalists

Join us at the John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center, 1200 Grand Ave., Des Moines, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015, for this free event.
