Coming Home

It’s a busy week here at the UI Alumni Association. Our board of directors is in town for its biannual meeting, IOWA Club leaders have arrived for their yearly workshop, and, of course, we’re in the midst of Homecoming festivities.

Homecoming is a time for you to reflect fondly on your college days, to share memories and anecdotes, to reconnect with an institution that helped shape your future. This year, we’re honored to welcome alumni and friends from all across the country as we celebrate “Countless Hawkeyes, One Spirit.”

On Friday, we invite you to come visit us at our UIAA Alumni Welcome Tents located on Clinton and Washington streets during the Homecoming Parade (5:45 p.m.). In addition to our family-friendly games and temporary Hawkeye tattoos, we’ll also distribute new 2013 Homecoming stickers. Post a photo of you or your family wearing the stickers on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with the hashtag #UIowaAlumni for your chance to win a Hawkeye Prize Pack!

Happy Homecoming!
