An Excursion to America’s Last Frontier

Just a couple weeks ago, the University of Iowa Alumni Association’s Iowa Voyagers boarded Oceania Cruises’ flagship vessel the Regatta for a 10-day cruise from Seattle to Alaska’s picturesque Inside Passage. Highlights of the trip included enjoying fresh Dungeness crab in Ketchikan, a tour of downtown Juneau, a sail alongside the famous Hubbard Glacier, visits to the Alaskan ports of Icy Strait Point, Sitka, and Wrangell, and a classic car show in Victoria, British Columbia. Check out these incredible photos from this unforgettable trip!

The UIAA’s Iowa Voyagers will offer two trips to Alaska in 2014: Alaskan Frontiers and Glaciers from July 31 to Aug. 10 and Alaska’s Inside Passage Small Ship Adventure from Aug. 7-14. Each year, Iowa Voyagers takes our alumni and friends on dozens of exciting tours and cruises. From Australia to Alaska, the UIAA can take you where you want to go.
