Hawkeyes Around the World

On Saturday, May 18, 107 people gathered at the Bangi Golf Resort in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They came to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and reminisce about the one thing they all have in common—the University of Iowa. Currently, 430 UI alumni call Malaysia home, making it the fourth largest population of alumni outside the U.S.

With more than 250,000 alumni living all over the world, it’s always exciting to see Hawkeyes come together in different parts of the globe. Whether it’s a chance meeting between alumni in Sydney or an organized reunion in Kuala Lumpur, we love to see photos and hear stories about our alumni encountering more of their own. Thanks again to Ms. Mahd-Nawawi for sharing her photos from the 2013 Malaysia reunion with us.
