Springing Forward

Believe it or not, spring is here. No, really. While today’s weather in Iowa City evokes memories of Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day, a new season brings a sense of rebirth to the UI campus. Spring carries a sense of promise and anticipation for the future, a time to start fresh and to improve upon last year’s accomplishments.

We have plenty to look forward to here at the University of Iowa. Tonight, the men’s basketball team gears up for its first-round matchup in the NIT, and the women’s basketball team will soon host Miami in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Next week, football players will don pads for the first time in months, and, before long, our UI seniors will take their final tests as undergrads. For all these Hawkeyes and more, new adventures await just around the corner.

At the University of Iowa Alumni Association, we’re proud to be a part of this wonderful community. We strive each day to reach out to graduates, current students, and our university friends. As a new season blooms, we look forward to interacting and engaging with all of you.
