Kindred Spirits in Cuba

The UI community shares common passions for art, literature, dance, music, and food with like-minded citizens of Cuba. This January 22-29, our Iowa Voyagers travelers will be able to share cultures on a people-to-people exchange trip with our Caribbean neighbors to the south. Our customized itinerary includes special visits and interactions with Cuban artists, dancers, painters, poets, authors, and even small press operators who produce exquisite print editions of one-of-a-kind books. Led by Professor Adriana Mendez from the UI Department of Spanish and Portuguese, travelers will benefit from her expertise and personal knowledge of her native country. You can still join this educational and fun adventure to Cuba: simply contact or call 800/469-2586 today!
