Last weekend, the UIAA hosted several great events, including Members’ Tailgate, the Iowa Black Alumni Network (IBAN) Reunion, and the Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (S.T.A.T.) Ambassador Reunion. For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of working with the S.T.A.T. Ambassador group. It’s been an amazing opportunity to reconnect with several past students and those who were involved with the program years ago (we won’t say how many)! At the reunion, former and current S.T.A.T. Ambassadors had the chance to meet and network at Atlas Restaurant in downtown Iowa City and also at the University Club. Here are a few photos from our event:

Did you miss the reunion? We would still love to hear from you! Email me at with your current location, profession, and any other updates you want to share! If you’d like to learn more about our student leadership program, which organizes many social and philanthropic events on campus, visit

Assistant Director of Alumni Programs
