Whiskey Business

The UI Alumni Association invites Big Apple graduates and friends to the Irish Exit pub next Tuesday, October 23, for a fun-filled evening that includes a chance to taste-test Iowa Templeton Rye and meet Sarah Fisher Gardial, new dean of the Tippie College of Business. In 2001, UI business alumnus Scott Bush, 96BBA, founded the Templeton Rye whiskey company based on a Prohibition-era recipe that Al Capone called “The Good Stuff.” Today, Templeton Rye is in hot demand as a top-shelf rye whiskey. At the UIAA event, you’ll learn about the history of this Templeton, Iowa, company and enjoy a free sample to judge for yourself. Plus, Sarah Gardial will share her perspective on the future of the UI’s business programs.

If you live in the New York City metro area, please join us! Register to attend by this Friday, October 19, at  https://wordpress.iowalum.com/events/newestexport.
