Tuesday Trivia Answer: September 18, 2012

The answer to this week’s trivia (“Since 1939, more than 35 UI graduates have been honored with which prestigious literary award? “) is the Pulitzer Prize.

Established by publisher Joseph Pulitzer and administered by New York City’s Columbia University, the award recognizes excellence in newspaper journalism, literary achievements, and musical composition. Past Iowa honorees include Tennessee Williams, Paul Conrad, John Cheever, Tracy Kidder, Jane Smiley, and Marilynne Robinson.
