Week of Wrestling

This weekend, thousands of wrestling fans will descend upon Iowa City for the U.S. Olympic Trials. Last night, a statue of Dan Gable was unveiled outside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and the legendary coach himself will speak on “going for the gold” in wrestling and in life tomorrow afternoon at the Iowa City Public Library. We hope locals and visitors alike will get their fill of wrestling exhibits and programs this weekend—and good luck to the Hawkeye alumni participating in the trials!

Would you like to get close to the action with mat-side wrestling seats during a regular-season match? This is just one of the perks available with our Iowa Rewards credit card, which gives UI fans and friends access to game-used jerseys, autographed collectibles, and more! Apply today by clicking here.
