A Hawkeye Tree for the Holidays

Hawkeye Tree
Members of the Des Moines IOWA Club put on a sparkling display of Hawkeye pride at the 2011 Festival of Trees and Lights. The annual event helps raise funds for the Blank Children’s Hospital by auctioning some of the festive trees. Laden with black-and-gold Iowa ornaments, the “It’s Hawkeye Time” tree also attracted bidders with its package of Iowa football and basketball tickets donated by the UI Alumni Association.

The UIAA wishes you happy holidays! In the spirit of the season, post a picture of  your favorite Hawkeye holiday decoration on the UIAA Facebook page.
