The Grand Prize of the Grand Danube

Next week, John and Mary Jo Langhorne, 75MA, of Iowa City will travel with Alumni Holidays International on the Grand Danube Passage cruise—courtesy of the UIAA. Mary Jo won the vacation as the grand prize this past May at our 50th anniversary celebration of the Iowa Voyagers travel program.

In 2012, Iowa Voyagers can enjoy a similar adventure on the Grand Danube Passage tour. In addition to the eight-night cruise, the trip features three nights in Prague, Czech Republic, and two nights in Sofia, Bulgaria. Passengers will learn about the local history and culture as they explore the beauty of marvelous old-world capitals, picturesque villages, and beautiful Danube River landscapes. The trip runs from September 11 through 25, 2012.
