Take Your Career to the Next Level with the UIAA

On Wednesday, June 5, the University of Iowa Alumni Association and Pomerantz Career Center will host a career workshop at the Coralville Public Library for alumni and friends that are looking to change career paths, get a promotion, or simply enhance their résumé and networking skills. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a recent graduate, this two-part workshop is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions and improve your job seeking abilities.

In the first session, Cindy Meis, associate director for events and alumni services for the Pomerantz Career Center, will discuss what employers look for on a résumé and how you can use this to best market your skills. During session two, Megan Watt, assistant director of the Career Leadership Academy and career advisor for the Pomerantz Career Center, will speak about how to best network with recruiters before and after an interview. Afterwards, you are invited to join us for a networking reception where you can mingle with fellow job seekers and alumni. Refreshments will be provided.

This event is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
