Put Your Best Face Forward with Facebook

Businesses no longer hire solely based off of your resume, written recommendations, and interview skills. Today, your online profile can play a major role in a recruiter’s final decision. Social media has changed the way we communicate with our friends and family, and it has changed the way businesses look at potential employees.

On Wednesday, May 1, the UIAA will feature Natascha Saunders, career coach, speaker, and workshop facilitator, in our latest installment of the Alumni Career Webinar series. Saunders will discuss ways that job seekers can leverage social media for their personal branding. You will learn to:

  • Utilize the power of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogs, and many others
  • Build your online image, be identified by industry leaders, and develop meaningful relationships with others in your industry
  • Position yourself as a knowledge expert in your field

Natascha Saunders currently serves as a Leadership Lecturer at Northeastern University, Women Studies Adjunct Faculty at The University of Rhode Island, Board of Directors for Dimock Community Health Center, and Employer Relations & Career Programs Manager at MIT. Additionally, Saunders provides career coaching in job search strategies, interviewing, personal branding, resume building, and networking.

This event is exclusively available to current UIAA members. Register for this excellent opportunity today!
