Iowa and the Olympics

With former UI swimmer Conor Dwyer helping Michael Phelps to a record 19th medal in the 4×200-meter relay and gymnast Gabby Douglas winning the all-around gold under the tutelage of former UI assistant gymnastics coach Liang Chow, it’s been a great week to watch the Olympics and see the links back to Iowa in London.

During the 2008 Olympic games, Iowa Alumni Magazine took a look at the Games from the viewpoints of four people with UI connections.
