The Importance of Being Hungry

Drawing influences from the Caribbean, Spain, and Africa, the cuisine of Cuba provides a flavorful experience for visitors. Fresh seafood, rice, and unique seasonings feature prominently, and distinctive Cuban variations of dishes like paella and stews are sure to please any palate.

Experiencing the cuisine of Cuba is just part of the full-time schedule of exchange program educational activities. Our first departure has already sold out, and we are now takingreservations for our second group (December 10-17).

Long-closed to American travelers, this Caribbean island offers a wealth of cultural, culinary, and exploratory adventures. Join Iowa Voyagers this December as we leave winterbehind and journey south!

This Iowa Voyagers trip is operated in accordance with a special license issued by the U.S. Department of Treasury.

You may reserve your trip by completing the reservation form in the brochure and mailing it to the address shown on the form (our preferred method). You may also fax it to 319/335-1079. We cannot take emailed bookings. You may also call us at 1/800-IOWALUM (469-2586) or 319/335-3294 for more information.
