Eating for Health

Last night, over 180 people attended our Lifelong Learning event in Des Moines, where Dr. Terry Wahls, 82MD, 86R, presented on how changing what you eat and do can improve medical issues and your general well-being.

Wahls, who was confined to a tilt-recline wheelchair for four years as a result of her secondary progressive multiple sclerosis, detailed the restoration of her health and how the power of nutrition transformed her life.

After the presentation, she answered questions from the audience and signed copies of her book for attendees.
