Fall into IAM

The cooler weather makes me want to throw dinner in the Crock Pot, then curl up with a hot cup of tea and a good read. Here at Iowa Alumni Magazine, we’re putting the last touches on October’s issue, which we hope will keep you company on a chilly fall day. Appropriately enough for this spooky month, you will find within its pages a story about a UI course’s take on the nature of evil. BWAH-HA-HA!

Seriously, though, it’s interesting stuff. Not only that, you can read our story about an unforgettable time on campus (Hint: “If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair”), an alumnus and NASA leader’s role in the future of space travel, and some highlights of Hawkeye football by way of Homecoming buttons. (Reminder: This year’s Homecoming game is set for October 22, Iowa vs. Indiana, hope to see you in Iowa City!)

Happy fall to all. And happy reading.
