Service Trip to Romania

Since 2006, UI students have served overseas as nurturers and advocates for Romanian youngsters. Through the UI Alumni Association’s Operation: Romania program, two students receive full scholarships to travel and work for two weeks in a care center setting with babies and toddlers. This fulfilling and life-changing experience is once again available for 2012. The dates are May 26 – June 9, and eligibility details are available at wordpress.iowalum.com/voyagers/studenttours.cfm.

Students are invited to learn more about this opportunity as a way to fulfill the UI challenge to be engaged in service to others.
