Coffee Crawl

Students enthusiastically sampled coffees and enjoyed the sunny walk through Iowa City.

Caffeine was on the minds of UI freshmen who participated in last week’s Coffee Crawl as part of On Iowa!, a week of welcome for new students. More than 100 students walked to many of the coffee shops in Iowa City to enjoy free samples and become familiar with places to socialize and study.

In addition to the Coffee Crawl, plenty of other activities introduced new students to the UI and community. One of these great opportunities is S.T.A.T. (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow). By becoming a S.T.A.T. member, students can be involved on campus and in the community, meet other students, and develop leadership skills.
