Caribbean is Big Hit with Iowa Voyagers

Ten Iowa Voyagers (and two adopted travelers) had a great time March 22 – 29 as they cruised their way aboard Silversea’s M.V. Silver Whisper through the Lesser Antilles islands.  Beginning and ending in San Juan, Puerto Rico, they visited Saint Barts, Saint John, Grenada, Dominica, and Saint Kitts.  It was a great time to be enjoying the balmy temperatures of the islands, out of the winter weather.  Our thanks to Ron and Sherrie Steiger of Houston for serving as greeters for our small group and carrying the black and gold colors!

Here are Ron and Sherrie’s comments:

Diane,
We had a great time on our Caribbean Lesser Antilles cruise. We rate the Silversea Silver Whisper a six-star ship. We got all of the Iowa folks together for the Hawkeye reception on the aft deck of the Silver Whisper while docked in Antigua. The reception was followed by a Hawkeye group dinner, with front-row tables, on the pool deck. All in all, it was a wonderful trip with great weather to all of the beautiful islands. I have attached our group photo that was taken at sunset on deck in Antigua. Everyone in our group voiced appreciation for the nicely organized trip. Regards, Ron and Sherrie Steiger
