Spring is the Time

When spring rolls around each year, we’re ecstatic about the change of weather…or the potential for sunnier skies and warmer temperatures. It’s a rebirth of so many things, and on the eve of the first day of April, I’m thinking about a few things besides green and blooming vegetation and the (hopefully) warming climate. I’m also thinking about all the goals that I want to set for this fresh new time of the year and about what needs to be done now that the first three months of the year have passed.

I’m going to try to be healthier—in all aspects of my life. Planting a garden will correspond wonderfully with that, as will enjoying the outdoors again through walking my dog and running. I’m also going to purge (and donate) lots of things around the house that simply don’t need to be there—they don’t call it “spring cleaning” for nothing.

As you think about what goes into a happy spring for you, please remember the UIAA—your membership may expire in March, or you may not be a member yet. Now is the perfect time to renew or join. Enjoy this time of year!
