Latino & Native American Alumni Alliance (LANA3) News

Last week, I attended a meeting with my fellow committee members to discuss preparations for the 40th anniversary celebration of the Latino and Native American Cultural Center (LNACC) here on campus. We’re in full planning mode for this event next spring, and it’s always exciting to share the 40th anniversary news with our alumni. There’s such history in that cultural center, and many people are excited to return.

Of course, alumni involvement is critical to the success of this event. In case you didn’t receive the latest LANA3 e-newsletter, we’re in the process of reestablishing the LANA3 Leadership Board. We need alumni, near and far from Iowa City, to serve in a variety of positions, including at the LNACC celebration. You can find more information on our website about getting involved. If you didn’t receive the e-newsletter and would like to, please call (800/IOWALUM) or e-mail me and I’ll make sure you’re in-the-know next time around.

On, Iowa!
