Let's Do Lunch

If you live in the Chicago area, we would like to invite you to join fellow alumni for lunch on Wednesday, September 8, at Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House in Naperville. This is a career-themed networking lunch organized by the alumni associations of Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, and the University of Northern Iowa. The topic is “Aligning Generational Differences In Today’s Workplace,” presented by Jeffrey Parsons, a 1989 graduate of the University of Iowa and president of IGC Associates. Mr. Parsons has 20 years experience as a global facilitator, coach, and consultant. Act quickly if you want to register for this lunch as the deadline is tomorrow.

If September 8th doesn’t work, you’ll have another chance to join us in downtown Chicago on Wednesday, October 6, at Petterino’s. The topic of this lunch will be “Big Thinking in Business,” presented by Mary Beth Hughes Wilke, a 1977 graduate of Iowa State University. She is the co-founder of Big Thinking by the Hour, a Chicago-based company that helps organizations program their own websites with content that attracts audiences and promotes sales.

The lunches are from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and we’d love to see you at one or both – your career will thank you!
